Sydney going vertical with more apartments

Sydney is fast becoming a vertical city, says property valuer Herron Todd White in its latest residential report. It says a shift in buyer expectations and a surge in demand for apartment living has led to medium and high density zones becoming increasingly common.

Notable higher density precincts across the city include:

Green Square (Alexandria) – median price on 2 bedroom units $890,000

Zetland – median price on 2 bedroom units $960,000

Harold Park at Forest Lodge – median price on 2 bedroom units $1.2m

Discovery Point at Wolli Creek – median price on 2 bedroom units $795,000

Central Park in Chippendale – median price on 2 bedroom units $1.1m

Erskineville – median price on 2 bedroom units $900,000

Camperdown – median price on 2 bedroom units $1m
